OSRS Easy Clue Scroll Guide

In the following guide, we will help you overcome various challenges to complete the Easy section of your Clue Scrolls. A plus point for these clues is that you only have to complete one or two before getting the actual reward. Sounds easy, doesn’t it? Let’s begin!

Types of Clues

There are three types of clues for the Easy Scrolls: Cryptic Clues, Maps, and Normal Clues. When you first view a Clue Scroll, you’ll be given one of these three clue types. An Emote Clue requires you to equip OSRS Items and head to a specific location to perform an emote. Cryptic Clues move more toward riddles, for instance, searching for an NPC, etc. Finally, Map Clues showcase drawings of a specific location, so you need to head there and dig at the indicated ‘X’ spot.

How to complete them?

The first sentence in an Emote Clue tells you where you have to go, while the other sentences indicate the items you have to wear and the emote you have to perform. There is a total of 31 Emote Clues in the easy list. Don’t worry the item requirements aren’t something you don’t already have or can’t obtain.

Cryptic Clues, however, can be difficult to solve because you have to crack the riddle to find out what action needs to be performed next. While some require speaking to NPCs or digging up locations, there are a few with quest requirements too.
